For the third year in a row, we will be supporting Hidden Help, a local grassroots charity for our Black Friday donations.

Black Friday looks different for every business - and there’s space for all of us to make the choices that work for our team, our customers, and our values.

For us at Good Tuesday, we’re choosing not to discount.
Why? Because we price fairly year-round, we avoid overproduction, and we want to use this week as a moment to give, not push consumption.

Instead, 20% of all sales will go to Hidden Help. They help those referred to them by Social Services and other statutory bodies – the homeless, refugees, ex-prisoners, the elderly, long-term sick and those being re-housed or fleeing domestic violence.

The Hidden Help Charity is set out with the belief that everything we need already exists within our community; they just have to find it and redistribute it.

They collect unwanted household items that would otherwise end up in landfill, restore them, and give them to people who are starting over after very tough circumstances.

They help people who are moving into new accommodation with literally nothing.
They rebuild homes, room by room. And they do it with dignity, respect, and compassion.

A bed for a child. A table for a family to eat around. A sofa so someone has somewhere safe to sit. Basic essentials that make a house feel like a home again.

They rely heavily on volunteers to make this all happen. 

Due to the challenging times, their workloads are increasing, so many people are struggling (my gosh - we need fewer billionaires and fairer wealth distribution - but that's a whole other story to write about another day).

We're privileged to be able to give back during this period of abundance and support this incredible organisation. 

20% of all sales during Black Friday 2025 will go direclty to Hidden Help.
