We’re saying goodbye to the magic of Once Upon a Tuesday and hello to GOOD TUESDAY!
Once Upon a Tuesday
It’s been an amazing few years, and the name ‘Once Upon a Tuesday’ has served us well.
It was accidentally dreamed up by my then 8 year old daughter - but as she’s growing up, so are we.
Lots of people have loved the name, except for every delivery driver who has ever delivered to us, and have called us ‘Once Upon a Time… every time.
Time for change
It was time to rethink the brand identity to better reflect who we are as a business, and to be a bit more consistent in our communications.
Why now? Over the past 4 years, we have been using a logo that was designed in Canva, in about 5 minutes.
As we were looking to upgrade the design, we realised we needed more than just a new logo.
We needed a new brand identity, to really put down who we are, what we look and sound like - which then led to questioning the brand name (by a very clever person, who asked us the question).
We got all the team involved to really understand who we are, what our values are and what we believe in, collectively as a brand. We established these firmly, as part of our rebrand.
When it came to the name change - we started with some name variations in the running, some wobbles were had - and we feel GOOD TUESDAY reflects us well - and hopefully will be far more iconic going forward.
It feels positive, dynamic and down to earth - reflecting what we feel is us, as a collective.
As we launch the new website, goodtuesday.com, we will also switch over the social media accounts and everywhere else you can find us.
Some of the products will still have the original logo on for now.
The name is new, but, I assure you, the team, our values around people, community and planet, as well as our dedication to creating exceptional products remains firmly in place. In fact - I think we’re all even more motivated as Good Tuesday - to make great things for our amazing customers, and to build a great future for this little brand, here in Cornwall.
Onwards and upwards. Good Tuesday.
The art in planning.
